Cookies and similar technologies as described in Section 5.

C. Information From Third Parties

We may receive information from payment processors, analytics providers, email and marketing platforms, hosting and course-delivery providers, and similar service providers, as well as from advertising or referral partners where applicable.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

provide, operate, deliver, and maintain the Site and Products, including processing purchases, granting access, and delivering courses, newsletters, research, and community access;

create and manage your account and authenticate you;

process payments, manage subscriptions and renewals, and prevent fraud and chargebacks;

send marketing and promotional communications, subject to your right to opt out;

operate, moderate, and improve the online community;

analyze usage, measure performance, and improve and develop the Site and Products;

protect the security and integrity of the Site, enforce our terms and policies, and protect our legal rights; and

comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share personal information as follows:

Service providers that perform functions on our behalf, such as payment processing, hosting, course and content delivery, email and marketing, community platform operation, analytics, and customer support, under agreements that limit their use of the information.

Legal and safety disclosures where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce our terms, or protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or others.

Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as part of the transaction.

With your direction or consent, including information you choose to make public in the community.

Depending on the technologies used on the Site (for example, certain advertising or analytics cookies), some sharing may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” for targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws; where that is the case, you may exercise the opt-out rights described in Section 11.

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences and login, measure and analyze usage, and, where applicable, support marketing. Some are strictly necessary for the Site to function; others are optional. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we will provide a cookie banner or preference tool. Disabling some cookies may affect Site functionality. We also honor recognized opt-out preference signals, such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by law. For more detail on the specific cookies and technologies we use and how to manage them, see our Cookie Policy.

6. Member Areas Are View-Only

Member areas and any “community” or member portal on the Site are provided on a view-only basis. We post content for members to access, and members cannot post, comment, chat, upload, message, or otherwise submit content. As a result, we do not collect user-generated content from members through these areas, and there is no member-created content displayed to other users.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, brokerages, and tools that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their privacy policies before providing information.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Products, maintain your account, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

9. Data Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Site and Products are intended for individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will delete it. If you believe a minor has provided us personal information, please contact us at [email protected].

11. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you reside, applicable state privacy laws (including in California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Florida, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws) may give you some or all of the following rights, subject to exceptions and verification:

Access / know — to request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you;

Correction — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information;

Deletion — to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you;

Portability — to obtain a copy of certain personal information in a portable format;

Opt out — to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information or its use for targeted advertising; and

Non-discrimination — to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision; where applicable, you may also contact your state attorney general.

12. Marketing Communications and Opt-Out

With your consent where required, we may send you marketing emails about our Products. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in those emails or by contacting us. We will still send you non-promotional transactional and account-related messages. We handle commercial email in accordance with the CAN-SPAM Act.

13. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to such signals, the Site may not respond to them. We do respond to recognized opt-out preference signals such as GPC where required by law, as described in Section 5.

14. Information for U.S. Users Only

The Site and Products are intended for users in the United States, and personal information is processed in the United States. We make no representation that the Site is appropriate or available for use outside the United States.
